002 - [open commentlog] Educate the giant robot or watch him go flying?
[There had been a few distractions, but it was time to find out how restricted the airspace was, if it was. So here is Jetfire, standing on the edge of the Green closest towards the Barracks and staring at the sky, helm tilted back, arms crossed. Before he goes, though...]
//Starscream, want to come flying? I talked with someone earlier who indicated the sky isn't what it seems.//
[The comm sent and over with, Jetfire concentrates back on the sky again. It looks normal. It ought to be normal. But apparently it isn't.
Go stare at the jet, before or after he comes down?]
((ooc: Backdated to recently after his arrival, since I am slow...))

He's been playing with the Autobots too long, don't listen to him.
[A smirk when he glances back to Iriel though.]
It's about knocking the other person offline. You do that and you know you're good.

It's not a contest. I'd suggest not taking Starscream quite as literally as he'd want you to. Since just flooding the connection and sensory net with enough stimuli and to create enough excess energy and charge to overload your partner... or partners, into going offline doesn't necessarily mean you're good.
Merely that you can strong-arm the connection. [Jetfire is totally unimpressed by Starscream's statement.]

[This is said, surprisingly, without judgment. Still, she grins and shakes her head a bit. Robot sex. Wait until Fiel hears about this...
...and then she was reminded that Fiel wasn't there. That her friend, and the rest of her world supposedly winked out of existence. She drew herself up and sighed.]
As fascinating as this all is, I was headed somewhere. I'll leave you two to your fun and interfacing games, hm?
[She offered a wave, and a wink, and continued on her way.]

You're such the charmer, Jetfire. Why don't you give her diagrams next time? I'm sure she'd be fascinated.

If you feel it lacking, you could always follow her, but that'd be rather rude. And it wasn't I who just picked her up while she was going about her own business. Of course she'd need to leave.
[Though he might have done the same... except he would totally have apologized for stealing time and not just snatched her up.]
Well, with that over... [He sighs and glanced up at the sunless sky.] Shall we get on with that flight I asked if you wanted to come with on?
no subject
Yeah, yeah. Lets go before you do anything else stupid.

Very gracious of you. Well... [Engaging flight systems and his afterburners, Jetfire took a slight leap into the air and hovered there.]
Let's see how big this cage is then. And whether there's anything to stop us from going up.
[And if there was anything to tell why there was no visible sun. That thing irked the most, but that might just be some sort of forcefield... Jetfire, nonetheless, waited for Starscream to take to the air with him before shooting off to explore their limited airspace.]
