[Hi, Keep. Anyone in the corridor(s) near room 3169 will be privy to a buck-naked, seven foot even white-haired woman walking down said corridor muttering about conversion and disappearance of mass before she abruptly turns around to walk back the way she came, for the room she had just left, while opening the journal.
She'd just realized humans didn't tend to walk around naked. So that wasn't something she should be doing, then, even if she'd been doing it in pursuit of something to wear. And how come the journal had changed size to fit her like this, too?]
... Considering I have yet to see any of the organics around here walk around without some sort of covering, I assume that's not something one does, for various reasons.
Protection and warmth, for two, presumably. Skin really isn't adequate protection at most temperatures... Besides for a narrow range as far as I can extrapolate from biological parameters. Anything else? And if it's not usual to walk around... naked perhaps someone could find or lend me something to wear, since I was on the way to pick something up...
Ah, one more thing. Anyone has an estimate of how long this is going to last, if something like it has happened before?
[Good experiments always have a cut-off point at which it expires/you cease for evaluation, after all.
Also, the lack of comm. is highly annoying; she'd intended to contact Starscream since before she left, but she kept forgetting it. So she'll just knock on his door to see if he'll open, otherwise she'll check on him later... And just hope he's had nothing strange happen to him in the meantime.]

I might have something you can fit.
I would be grateful for that, Jael... Though, size matters, doesn't it? I can't exactly give a proper number for my current height due to lacking certain instruments, but an inadequate estimate... well over six feet.
[The single bit of extra emphasis on that words is the only sign that Jetfire might be... slightly... annoyed at the situation; otherwise she sounds remarkably collected for someone who just drastically changed species for the first time.]
[text]
Oh dear. I might not have anything that will fit very well, but I should have something that will at least cover you until I can go find something better.
[Jael starts going through her small bundle of clothes. Loose pants and a shirt...she only has one pair of shoes so Jetfire will have to do without unless Jael can find some in the clothier's tower.]
Are you in your room?
[The tone implies that she wouldn't really bother besides for the fact that it is getting kind of cold walking around like this, and that's just uncomfortable.]
I'm on my way back, yes, since it seemed easier to ask if someone had something they could lend or pick up instead of walking around being cold.
[Yes, that has become the issue, not that she is walking around... naked. Nope.]
Mmm, I just realized. Jael, if it's easier to sign at the journal than write, remember I can understant that now, too.
[It might be easier to forget about it, after all, if she has to write all the time to be understood by everyone else.]
Jael...actually hadn't thought of doing that before. So this time the post is video. Jael is pretty much the same, except her ears are short and rounded like a normal human.]
/That's a good idea. I never thought of it before. I'm looking for something for you to wear, so I'll be at your room in a few minutes./
[video]
[Jetfire trails off, studying Jael now that she can see her, and...]
Human... are you all right with this... change?
[Considering the bits and pieces she's learned.]

Ahhh, y-yes, c-c-clothing is rather something you w-w-would n-not w-wish to l-leave off.
N-not w-withstanding the w-w-weather, you will find that it is r-rather a necessary to p-protect your s-skin.
[His grinning face turns to study the woman.]
M-might I ask w-what you w-were b-b-before this?
It is rather easily breached, itsn't it? Terribly inefficient for protection... Ah.
[If she's particularly disturbed by Tumnus' new look, Jetfire doesn't show it.]
Non-organic. Reduced to ten feet, I am... or was, if you will, but merely changing physical shape, most probably temporarily, will not change one's nature, Cybertronian. Autonomous mechanoid. Something similar to a robot, if that's a concept and phrase you are familiar with.
[Yes, not even changing species like this stops pedantic explanations.]
no subject
Rather quite, r-really. Humans are, unfortunately, b-b-better off b-behind clothing or armor of s-some fashion.
[Then he listens intently as Jetfire describes her original form, wracking his mind for some example he might have seen here at the Keep. When she says 'robot' he makes a soft sound and nods.]
That concept I know, yes... You are one of the tall metal creatures, then. I daresay this must be ever the change for you?
no subject
Armour, I think, would be even more useful, considering the potential vulnerability of skin...
Yes, exactly. As long as this doesn't go on for too long, I should be fine, even if the change is... drastic.
[There's a tiny grimace accompanying the last word; at least she'd only been reduced in size, before. This was... a lot more than that.]
... And what about yourself? I assume that's not... your correct shape either.
no subject
Hmmm, well you might be able to f-find something suitable in the Armory, I should think. If there is nothing there, then p-perhaps one of the staff members might be inclined to aide you in acquiring some?
[Tumnus makes a soft sound in the back of his throat before shaking his head.]
This? Oh, Heaven's no... No, I am a faun. My name is Tumnus.
no subject
Depending on how long this experiment is set to run, that might be a valuable idea. Thank you.
A... Hm. [Jetfire tries to think, but Starscream's been spotty when it comes to explanations for words that have no direct equivalent or meaning in Cybertronix.]
I'm afraid you're going to have to describe it... While I've learned English, I'm missing a lot of cultural background and meaning for words and concepts which have no equivalents in my native language.
[She doesn't sound annoyed, merely interested to learn, and despite the fact that these changes aren't holographic or anything, Jetfire briefly studies Tumnus' current form as she could see through it to his actual one and gain understanding of what the word might mean.]

[A pause, slightly distracted, before Jetfire focuses back.]
And how is this... hm, experiment treating you?
Isabella is staring at the journal for a brief moment before responding. She didn't think that the species-switch would effect a golem!]
Jetfire? Are you alright? I can get you some clothes-
[She's got plenty of dresses in her room even!]
If you need them! Or anything else?!
Which... wasn't this situation.]
Isabella. [Jetfire's gone back to her room by now, and picks up the journal again, frowning slightly.]
Jael's offered clothes, but we are both rather uncertain whether they will fit; as far as I can determine, I am well above six feet. Otherwise I should be all right, presently. The situation's rather... unpredecented.
Are you all right?
[video] Sorry so late! D:
The dress should fit alright, if short in the length. I've some shifts that should work no matter the size. Night gowns at least.
What is your room number? I can drop them off and help fit you-
[That has to be cold~!
The former half-angel smiles. Showing pointed white teeth in a red-skinned face.]
I'm alright! This time is much better than last!
[video] Not to worry~
It sounds worth a try. I am probably going to have to leave my room later either way, depending on how Starscream reacts. It's room 3169. A dress is...?
[Jetfire trails off, allowing her confusion to hopefully lead into some sort of explanation, and yes, it's not warm at all without some sort of covering, Jetfire has quickly found.]
It's happened before, then? And you prefer this to whatever shape you wore last?
[video]<3
[At least not the kind of dress that Isabella is bringing.]
It's also something that is mostly for women.
[The second question makes her eyes shift a bit, she's nervous.]
It happened during the summer months, and I was- human, last time. More of one side of myself than the other, I supposed. Everyone was changed into humans though. It was hard for me to stand-
[And was fodder for the nightmares where her wings had been cut off instead of broken.]
I have my balance, as a tiefling. The tail acts as a perfect, if somewhat active counterweight in place of my wings. But I do prefer being myself- if given a choice.
[She smiles again.]
I'll be right there, Jetfire.
[video] c:
[She cocks her head, a thoughtful frown forming as she taps a finger against her chin.]
So... If I go looking for clothes for Starscream, unless he finds some of his own, I shouldn't pick any... dresses, for him?
[Jetfire doesn't pick up on the nervousness so much as that something about the question made Isabella... uncomfortable? She's not sure.]
The lack of wings can't have been easy, no, if you're used to their weight to have to balance against as well as using them for counter-balance.
[She nods, that observation connection nicely and understandably with Isabella's comment about her current form and its tail.]
I'll be waiting, either in the room or outside, depending on how fast this discussion with Starscream goes, and when Jael comes by.

Go away.]
[Comment log]
Starscream? Considering you consistently leave the door either unlocked or open while not inside, I know you're in there.
[Another knock and she's not going to leave just yet.]
What changed?
[Comment log]
He does creep closer to the door.]
Who are you and how do you know my name?!
[Comment log]
I know your name because I've known it for the last few million vorns, Starscream.
[Considering you haven't widely introduced yourself, who do you think it is?]
How much changed?
[Starscream's slowness about coming to the door, even when he thinks it's someone he doesn't know talking to him and knowing his name, was slightly... worrying.]
I would assume any given change ought not impose a species upon any one of us which cannot survive as-is in these surroundings, but if that's an incorrect assumption... What did you change into, Starscream?
[Comment log]
[But that voice?? Did it happen to him too. Well misery loves company at least.
He finally manages to open the door, but that's only to snake a hand outside and drag whoever it is on the otherside in and then quickly shut the door again.]
