[Hi, Keep. Anyone in the corridor(s) near room 3169 will be privy to a buck-naked, seven foot even white-haired woman walking down said corridor muttering about conversion and disappearance of mass before she abruptly turns around to walk back the way she came, for the room she had just left, while opening the journal.
She'd just realized humans didn't tend to walk around naked. So that wasn't something she should be doing, then, even if she'd been doing it in pursuit of something to wear. And how come the journal had changed size to fit her like this, too?]
... Considering I have yet to see any of the organics around here walk around without some sort of covering, I assume that's not something one does, for various reasons.
Protection and warmth, for two, presumably. Skin really isn't adequate protection at most temperatures... Besides for a narrow range as far as I can extrapolate from biological parameters. Anything else? And if it's not usual to walk around... naked perhaps someone could find or lend me something to wear, since I was on the way to pick something up...
Ah, one more thing. Anyone has an estimate of how long this is going to last, if something like it has happened before?
[Good experiments always have a cut-off point at which it expires/you cease for evaluation, after all.
Also, the lack of comm. is highly annoying; she'd intended to contact Starscream since before she left, but she kept forgetting it. So she'll just knock on his door to see if he'll open, otherwise she'll check on him later... And just hope he's had nothing strange happen to him in the meantime.]

[That was probably the first hint of frustration and unease Jetfire had allowed herself since having a (quiet and brief) lapse of rational thought before she'd pulled herself together and went out in search of clothes. And then went back.]
While this is interesting, I do not approve of an occurrence, or experiment, which has no clear point at which it's ended.
[At Jael's question of Starscream, Jetfire shakes her head, briefly tugging on a lock of hair against her shoulder before brushing it back.]
He's being unreasonable. I'm... surprised he let this affect him as much as he did even if I can't say I'm... not comfortable with this either.
[Jetfire frowns.]
And he acted as if me having a female body was something strange. I can understand you assuming one sex or another, Jael, but Starscream ought to not be coloured that way. If he hadn't merely spent around a quarter vorn... ah, twenty years, on Earth close to humans, I'd have said he had stayed too long and let himself get too influenced.
[It's more of incomprehension and exasperation, but he had sort of counted on Starscream's... rather irrepressible personality to have something to bounce off of.]
Thank you. If we're lucky, it is merely for today, otherwise I assume I'm going to need something more to sleep on...
[Because she can tell, standing barefoot on the floor, that for someone organic, sleeping on this wouldn't be comfortable.]

[Jael frowns slightly and reaches up to pat Jetfire's shoulder.]
/Maybe he's just a little off-balance because of the sudden change? For someone who's never been through this before, it's awfully jarring, even for the strongest person./
[She kind of doubts that's the reason, but she can never understand what's going through Starscream's mind anyway.]
/I'll see what I can do. I should have an extra blanket you can use until we all change back./
[commentlog]
[That is as far as she'll go to admit that while she's still interested, this is really rather... unsettling. Not what she'd want. Too soft, too much fluids, not precise enough...]
That is obviously part it, but there really is no reason for acting as if I should have been<(/i> one biological sex or another.
[Jetfire lifts one hand to brush it over the top of Jael's as she pats his shoulder, shaking her head.]
That would be appreciated... Hm. If Starscream doesn't come out, I assume I'm going to have to find something for him...
[As well as food. That, as of yet, is a rather daunting thought.]

[Jael gives Jetfire a small smile.]
/You know if you need help with anything, anything at all, I am always available./
[commentlog]
[Jetfire huffs and crosses her arms; it's clear that either there had been no answer forthcoming, it had been unsatisfactorily, or Starscream had continued to just not make (expected) sense.]
Ah, yes... For you too, even if I probably could not help you as often as you might need, when we're back to proper forms.
[The frustration slides away for an open, bright smile, however brief.]
[commentlog]
[Jael's own smiles widens. She doesn't often see Jetfire smile and it's nice to see it.]
/I'm going to go ahead and get out of here and try to find you some better clothes. If you want I could grab something for Starscream as well?/
[commentlog]
[Jetfire shook her head, giving the wall another look before turning back to Jael with a small smile.]
Thank you for going through the trouble.
[commentlog]
/It's no trouble at all. I'll be back later with some things for you two, okay?/
[Jael opens the door and waves at Jetfire.]
