001 - [Video]
[Jetfire apparently figured out the video-function of the journal very quickly, because that's what pops up; a view of someone white, obviously very large, and metal. As soon as he starts to speak, however, it's clear, for those of you who speak English, that he's not speaking that (or any other langauge mostly anyone here would recognize), so have a text translation.]
... This shouldn't even... ahh, right...
I'm finding the premise I'm supposed to accept rather improbable. The odds of even... ah, something divine having the time to construct a place of safety and then pluck someone... or even several, aren't even astronomical. I'd be generous if I said they were astronomical.
[Jetfire only has a faint frown on his faceplates, but his optics are narrowed and his voice heavy with disbelief. Amusingly enough, despite the science-oriented talk, the heavy blanket of disbelief lightens some on the word 'divine', even if there's a slight sigh accompanying it instead.]
Especially since even the assumption of a 'frozen-moment' would require unfreezing at any change of location, and thus even a pre-knowledge of the so-supposed "end" wouldn't be sufficient. Further, even with such a time window, that alloted time would soon run out.
[Does Jetfire enjoy science so much he wouldn't mind potentially talking to himself about it? Yes. He might also be slightly upset. Maybe.]
And since different universes would, by virtue of natural variation, obey slightly different rules, have slightly different outcomes... A single destructive event encompassing a possible multiverse... or even omniverse and completely wiping it all out is highly unlikely simply by virtue of these internal variations-- [The large, white robot seems to have run out of steam (so to speak) finally, as he drags a hand down his face.]
No matter what is actually going on... How and why am I over two-thirds shorter than I ought to be? [That should just not be possible.]
Also... [There's a deep, slow vent.]
If anyone else is here and has seen... or, ah, heard Starscream... Please inform me.
[There were many others he'd like to ask for, but, presently, this seemed to be the most... important. At least personally and for the general safety of any possible others.]

[He falls silent, scowling down at something off-screen.]
... Nothing, I guess. Still, I hate this.
[Jetfire briefly looks away, and then back, tilting his head in a nod.]
In some ways, despite the, ah... experience afforded us, I cannot really see it not be preferable to simply have gone with our realities, if they have indeed been... destroyed.
[Tactful? Only sometimes! Jetfire is interested in this situation, yes, but the contradictions, the knowledge of what might be lost... It does not, already - and Ironhide has obviously been here for longer - seem worth it.]
[He stares at the feed. And then blinks.]
Say again?
Er... [Jetfire pauses and then continues, giving a miniscule shrug.]
I'm not sure what you would have preferred to happen, but while I am curious about our current location and the situation, I may honestly have preferred to have perished with the rest, if I could have chosen.
[He's not sure he would or is preferring it to what the situation currently is, and this is a singular experience. Still. Is it worth it, considering what's been claimed?]
[He almost spits that word. It's clear he doesn't expect anything like it from the staff here.]
... yeah. Would rather be where I am supposed to be. With the others. And Prime.
Ah. Yes. [There's a brief flicker of his optics. He still hopes at least one--- No matter.]
Mm... When would it be suitable for you to go search this place and see if there's any energon to find?
small>[Perhaps it would be more germane, and prudent, to turn their attentions toward something else.]
[If he sees that flicker, he chooses not to comment about it.]
Not busy now.
[Jetfire nods at that, and is clearly about to answer when something else
like Starscream finding out he's here too and accusing him of being part of the trapdistracts him.]I would... ah. Er, perhaps in a bit? I just had... Apparently a friend is here too.
[That seems the easiest way of phrasing it for the moment, though he can't see Ironhide and Starscream somehow not meeting, or even talking. But currently, he needs to make sure Starscream stays put.]
Who is it?
His designation is Starscream.
[He'll not assume Ironhide knows a Starscream from where he's from. If he's lucky, he's either not have had anything to do with his version of the Seeker, or he doesn't exist at all.]
What?
[It sort of looks like he's just been smacked in the face by a semi-truck.]
I see you've... at least met or know of the Starscream from your dimension. [Jetfire drags a hand down his faceplates and frowns.]
I know he's a Decepticon. I would, however... appreciate if any lethal action could be... set aside. I'm going to do my best to keep Starscream under control. [Jetfire looked off to the side briefly; going about keeping Starscream under control and not doing anything (too) foolish was something he should be getting on real soon, what with their exchange over the journals.]
...
Keep your pet leashed, and I will not tear his face off.
... I'll... do my best. Starscream tends to be rather... ah, aggravating. But please remember the Starscream from your dimension and mine, while obviously sharing traits, aren't the same.
[If he could start Ironhide off that... Well. He doesn't have too much hope. He does know how Starscream is, after all. This would be... a mess, most probably. Jetfire drags a hand down his faceplates and pauses in the action of terminating this.]
You would still be... amenable... to go looking for energon later?
[He snorts, and seems to be considering Jetfire's words carefully.]
You are an Autobot. Yeah. Find me when you need me.
He can, however, be made to do some good in certain circumstances. [Which reminds Jetfire to ask about Bumblebee... No matter if it might not technically matter if their universe has been destroyed.]
I will. Thank you.
[There is a lot of finality in those words. If only because Ironhide fully believes in what he's saying.]
You know how to find me.
