[After helping Ironhide, Jetfire had went to get his journal. He'd merely intended to ask a question... But since he'd attempted to challenge himself again when it came to the absolutely dreadful weather, the image that pops up is simply of Jetfire standing at one of the entrances to the barracks, staring out at the snow, for several minutes.]
I... That is...
[He seems to zone out again, having stretched out one arm outside the protection of the doorway, watching snowflakes melt as they meet his armour-plating.]
... Has anyone been here... for long enough to have the data to say for how long this weather is going to last? Or, if not that... The experience to extrapolate how long this colder weather and snow could last..?
[He's not once looking directly into the journal, and his optics are dim, nearly offline. It's hard to say what actually turns the image off when it ends, but whether anyone replies to this, or comes wandering around the barracks, Jetfire is probably quite obvious where he's standing.
He's at least pulled his arm in against his frame, though the small pool of water on the floor would reveal he apparently didn't do it until he got quite a bit of snow on it.]

Instead he just brushes off the last bits of snow Starscream decorated his face with.]
If I actually listened to that, I'd have had to stop talking millions of vorns ago. I don't think confrontation therapy's going to work in this instance, at least not completely, you know.
[Jetfire's helm angles slightly upwards as he glances towards the white, clouded sky still dropping snow on them, arms crossed. He knows that's not what Starscream had been doing, but it'll annoy him to have Jetfire say it.]
[comment log]
[Yes, that annoyed him. So much that Starscream just attempts to shove Jetfire backwards into the snow.]
I'll show you confrontation therapy.
[comment log]
[The noise as Jetfire hits the snow-covered ground is almost like an echo of that of Ironhide's fall earlier; a bit more muted, and he'd angled himself to the side instead. And he's not going to admit to the roar his engine made when he went down.]
You do that again and next time I'll make sure you end up under me and break my fall instead of just taking you with me.
[Jetfire's optics are narrow, and the grip on Starscream's upper arm - so strange to not see his hand cover most of that arm - too tight, before he lets go with a slightly staticky huff and "accidentally" flicks a bit of snow on Starscream as he sits up, rubbing the back of his helm.]
Pleased with the turn of events now?
[There's solid ground beneath him and not fathoms of ice that'll just melt the moment he ignites his afterburners. It'll be fine. Absolutely.]
[comment log]
[Starscream spoke with more of a growl than anything and pulls himself into a sitting position.]
And then I'll bury you myself.
[There's something more aggressive now than when he first came out. There was a real threat there instead of an empty or 'playful' comment.]
[comment log]
... Starscream?
[The question should be obvious enough; where did that come from? Not that he isn't completely surprised or used to it, but the quick jerk to the left, as it were, was slightly... unusual. Of course, it sort of echoed Starscream's threat from the pit; he had sounded pretty serious about dropping both Bumblebee and Jetfire in there.
And yet he had to go and save the Seeker right after.]
And if I took this [he lifts up two handsfuls of snow after weighing his options to demonstrate] and dumped it on top of you?
[comment log]
You wouldn't dare.
[He glares and points a finger at Jetfire as to further drive in his point.]
[comment log]
No? Who was it that decided it was a good idea to hit me with a snowball?
[Oh, he might not do it, but he's currently calmly forming the snow in his hand into a more proper snowball instead of just holding two handfulls of it. He's also being very precise with his snowball-making. The cold seeping from where he's sitting on the ground is slightly distracting, but there's Starscream right there to keep him focused.]
[comment log]
[Kind of eyeing Jetfire for any sudden movements.]
[comment log]
[Jetfire carefully moves the snowball from hand to hand before he just... offers it to Starscream, helm cocked.]
And even if you're quite able and willing to perform certain actions, I am perfectly capable of defending myself.
[Or keeping you under (reasonable) control, Starscream.]
[comment log]
[And when the snowball is offered he goes to grab it and pummel Jetfire in the face ... once again .. with snow.
And then he moves to get up to a standing position.]
[comment log]
Maybe you should consider being a little less predictable.
[He gets up after that, and there's not much else to do but accept what's been said, is there? It's a familiar claim, after all.]
... Did I do something that you're bringing that up again, or were you just busy during the Sunstorm debacle? Starscream, what do you even want?
[He was slightly annoyed that the Seeker was, at the same time as he was obviously still angry with him, still coming to him for help and he did help him. Would he be able to not do that? Maybe. He wasn't sure.
He wouldn't want Starscream to die, if he could help it, but this treatment was a bit... much. As he thought, Jetfire had crossed his arms, expression going cool.]
[comment log]
I was kinda busy. But you--
[He didn't even finish his sentence, just sort of growls and moves to storm off with a huff.
He didn't know why, but he wasn't even sure he had an answer for Jetfire's question.]
[comment log]
Confronting him, and perhaps getting nowhere, just pulling up more anger. Confronting him, and maybe actually getting somewhere. That last he wasn't sure of, really. And Starscream can storm off all he wants, that won't rescue him from being contacted by comm.]
//I what, Starscream? You unthaw me, looking for help, and that's acceptable. More than, even. But it is a bit frustrating----//
[He's not sure he actually can finish that. There's a short, harsh rev of his engine, exasperation welling up, before Jetfire activates his flight systems immediately and just shoots over the ground - this is a bit risky, and it'll be tight, but he is a lot smaller than before - grabbing Starscream as he's about to crash into him, and angles upwards, barely avoiding the wall of the barracks.
This is a bit different than grabbing the Seeker when he's smaller, but he's still strong enough to be capable of it... and he doesn't let the flight go on for long enough to let Starscream struggle too much, landing on the Keep's roof.]
Starscream...
[But what can he say? He doesn't even know all that goes in inside that helm. He puts the Seeker down, briefly gripping those upper arms and just stares. Things can't be like they were before, no, he knows that. But...]
Come talk to me when you're ready.
[Considering their rooms are next to each other, unless either of them decide to recharge somewhere else, outright avoidance might be hard, but that doesn't mean Starscream will actually talk. Jetfire just gives Starscream another stare, unsure what he even means himself with it, or wants, and just takes off from the roof, angling for the barracks.
He's had enough of being outside in this white, dead cold.]
[comment log]
He actually doesn't know what to say, and anything he would has gotten buried under gis own anger.
Even as Jetfire takes off, he just stares towards the ground and at the snow collecting on the ground again.]
