001 - [Video]
[Jetfire apparently figured out the video-function of the journal very quickly, because that's what pops up; a view of someone white, obviously very large, and metal. As soon as he starts to speak, however, it's clear, for those of you who speak English, that he's not speaking that (or any other langauge mostly anyone here would recognize), so have a text translation.]
... This shouldn't even... ahh, right...
I'm finding the premise I'm supposed to accept rather improbable. The odds of even... ah, something divine having the time to construct a place of safety and then pluck someone... or even several, aren't even astronomical. I'd be generous if I said they were astronomical.
[Jetfire only has a faint frown on his faceplates, but his optics are narrowed and his voice heavy with disbelief. Amusingly enough, despite the science-oriented talk, the heavy blanket of disbelief lightens some on the word 'divine', even if there's a slight sigh accompanying it instead.]
Especially since even the assumption of a 'frozen-moment' would require unfreezing at any change of location, and thus even a pre-knowledge of the so-supposed "end" wouldn't be sufficient. Further, even with such a time window, that alloted time would soon run out.
[Does Jetfire enjoy science so much he wouldn't mind potentially talking to himself about it? Yes. He might also be slightly upset. Maybe.]
And since different universes would, by virtue of natural variation, obey slightly different rules, have slightly different outcomes... A single destructive event encompassing a possible multiverse... or even omniverse and completely wiping it all out is highly unlikely simply by virtue of these internal variations-- [The large, white robot seems to have run out of steam (so to speak) finally, as he drags a hand down his face.]
No matter what is actually going on... How and why am I over two-thirds shorter than I ought to be? [That should just not be possible.]
Also... [There's a deep, slow vent.]
If anyone else is here and has seen... or, ah, heard Starscream... Please inform me.
[There were many others he'd like to ask for, but, presently, this seemed to be the most... important. At least personally and for the general safety of any possible others.]

[Video] timey what now
Since this Ironhide hasn't been through Dark of the Moon]Ironhide. I... have never heard your name before.
[He was taken to the Elegante before his own Jetfire actually showed up.]
[He nods.]
Autobot. Weapons master with Optimus Prime.
[Video] timey wimey wibbly wobbly-- /has never seen Doctor Who
Oh, so that's how it is, huh? Conditionals!]Interesting. [Jetfire pauses, frowning thoughtfully before he continues. The fact that this Ironhide has never heard of him... or a version of him, whichever it might be, isn't particularly disturbing.] The Ironhide I know, while certainly one of Optimus Prime's crew... was red.
At least the idea of alternate realities is something that has theories supporting it... [Jetfire's voice has now dropped to a murmur as he considers it, before looking up again, shaking his helm. Quite distracting, really.]
[Video] /HASN'T EITHER :D
[Now that one, he hasn't heard. The other Autobot he met on the Elegante hadn't even heard his name before.]
Seen it once before. In another... place like this.
[Video] :Db
You have also been in another place not your actual universe before coming here? Are there any other... Cybertronians, or Autobots... even Decepticons, around?
[This is highly curious, and he's uncertain how he's supposed to accept possible annihilation of worlds, when some have apparently experienced it more than once, even with provision for staggered time experience between universes/local multiverses.
Something like this can't rely on a 'lag' like seeing the light from a light-years distant star thousands or millions of years later.]
[That's something he will never forget.]
Not here. I was the only one, before you showed up.
Ah... I apologise. [That hadn't been very sensitive, now had it? He still isn't sure how believable proof could be accepted from an outside position and source, but asking such a question - even in the pursuit of knowledge - was really rather insensitive.]
I... see. [Jetfire nods, then drags a hand down his faceplates; really, he still has hope. There's no reason to accept them all gone just because he's here (alone). But... there are certainly other matters to focus on.]
Have you been able to procure energon while here? [Since really, that'd be - not right now, but relatively soon - a necessity.] Another individual I talked with implied a striking lack of technology...
[He saw the End. But that takes a lot more explanation. And Ironhide's not sure he's capable of explaining that.]
[He nods, too, accepting that apology.]
I have not yet tried to. They should. The ship had plenty of it.
I would hope so. If not, sooner, rather than an infinite later, will the location not matter, after all.
[Jetfire pauses to consider Ironhide; they're obviously from different, if related, realities...]
How often do you have need of energon, compared to have long you've been here, if you haven't yet needed any?
[And then his expression gets a little... uncomfortable. Someone really hasn't been taking care of themselves since they got here.]
[His shoulders sort of hunch up.]
... need some soon. Been here few months or so.
[Oh, look at that, who is already counting this situation as an 'us' rather than 'I' or 'you'. Jetfire pauses as that reaction though, then shakes his helm.]
Perhaps we should both go looking, if I am not the only one in need, future or not.
[Plus, there's another option. One that Ironhide doesn't really like, but... if they have no other choice...]
Or we ask the staff.
[Jetfire trails off as Ironhide reluctantly adds onto their options.]
Mmm, that would seem the most logical course of action, since they'd know what they have... and, if we're lucky, would be able to procure it if it can't be found? You would prefer we not need to ask them?
[He's not sure why that hesitation is there, but he can see it.]
[He huffs, and folds his arms.]
I would prefer to toss them into the lake, if I had the chance. I do not trust anyone working for our captor.
[He didn't trust the Elegante's crew, either. With good reason, it had turned out.]
I can't say I would trust them either, but what else is there to do?
[He is hardly going to disagree about the lack of trust, but if Jetfire is anything, it's practical.]
[He falls silent, scowling down at something off-screen.]
... Nothing, I guess. Still, I hate this.
[Jetfire briefly looks away, and then back, tilting his head in a nod.]
In some ways, despite the, ah... experience afforded us, I cannot really see it not be preferable to simply have gone with our realities, if they have indeed been... destroyed.
[Tactful? Only sometimes! Jetfire is interested in this situation, yes, but the contradictions, the knowledge of what might be lost... It does not, already - and Ironhide has obviously been here for longer - seem worth it.]
[He stares at the feed. And then blinks.]
Say again?
Er... [Jetfire pauses and then continues, giving a miniscule shrug.]
I'm not sure what you would have preferred to happen, but while I am curious about our current location and the situation, I may honestly have preferred to have perished with the rest, if I could have chosen.
[He's not sure he would or is preferring it to what the situation currently is, and this is a singular experience. Still. Is it worth it, considering what's been claimed?]
[He almost spits that word. It's clear he doesn't expect anything like it from the staff here.]
... yeah. Would rather be where I am supposed to be. With the others. And Prime.
Ah. Yes. [There's a brief flicker of his optics. He still hopes at least one--- No matter.]
Mm... When would it be suitable for you to go search this place and see if there's any energon to find?
small>[Perhaps it would be more germane, and prudent, to turn their attentions toward something else.]
[If he sees that flicker, he chooses not to comment about it.]
Not busy now.
[Jetfire nods at that, and is clearly about to answer when something else
like Starscream finding out he's here too and accusing him of being part of the trapdistracts him.]I would... ah. Er, perhaps in a bit? I just had... Apparently a friend is here too.
[That seems the easiest way of phrasing it for the moment, though he can't see Ironhide and Starscream somehow not meeting, or even talking. But currently, he needs to make sure Starscream stays put.]
Who is it?
His designation is Starscream.
[He'll not assume Ironhide knows a Starscream from where he's from. If he's lucky, he's either not have had anything to do with his version of the Seeker, or he doesn't exist at all.]
What?
[It sort of looks like he's just been smacked in the face by a semi-truck.]
